Oasis Community Church was formed in October 2015 as a brand new pioneering outreach in the South Wales Valleys. Formerly attending a local pentecostal church, its leaders and congregation firmly believed God had directed them to “do something new” and they stood on His Word and began to meet weekly at the Oasis Community Centre in Trecynon, Aberdare.
The vision goes beyond doing church regularly and is tied inextricably with the now completed Oasis Community Project. You can read more about this project here. Oasis Church firmly believes that God is calling His people to break down barriers that have persisted for many, many years between the established church and the surrounding communities. Our primary focus is to reach and connect with the community while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love”.
At Oasis, you will be loved, accepted and it is not presumptuous to say that you will be blessed beyond measure. God has done so much for us and we want to share the love of God with our community.
